The AWCA 45th Celebration is a time to celebrate our community, programs, and accomplishments, as well as a time to acknowledge and thank our donors, supporters, volunteers, and members who make our work possible and worthwhile.

AWCA supports the underserved and under-resourced members in our communities with women’s leadership. The Asian Women’s Christian Association celebrates 45 years of service this year, according to our mission statement:

AWCA, centered on the love of Christ, provides families with the resources to become healthy, contributing members of society through education, social, and homecare services.

As part of our ongoing efforts to raise awareness of our services and programs, AWCA invites you to join us for our 45th anniversary. We ask for your support and partnership in uplifting and empowering our community through a shared heart for philanthropy and service.

Ms. Kyunghee Choi is an adjunct professor and Business Executive in Residence at Bergen Community College. A former Managing Director at J.P. Morgan and Vice President at Holy Name Medical Center, she launched the highly-acclaimed Korean Medical Program with a care model that has since been adopted by hospitals nationwide.

Dr. William K. Lee is President of Cardiac Associates of North Jersey and former Director of Cardiology at Valley Hospital. A renowned philanthropist, he established the Korean YMCA of Greater New York and is board emeritus. He is also emeritus trustee of the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia.
